We're the natural evolution of Eminent Yacht Care, a company with years of experience in boat detailing. That hands-on work, side by side with our clients, taught us something no product spec sheet ever could: what someone truly needs to protect a high-value surface, whether it's a boat's gelcoat or a car's paint.
Eminent Detail Store was born out of that experience. We didn't start with a generic catalog and then go looking for someone to sell it to; we started with years of real problems, difficult surfaces, demanding climates, and clients who wouldn't accept “good enough.” From there, we chose to select and distribute only the products capable of meeting that standard.
What sets us apart is our extensive experience working on boats of every size and every surface condition — from a gelcoat fresh out of the factory to one worn down by years of sun and salt. Our history
It all started on the water.
Before we were Eminent Detail Store, we were Eminent Yacht Care: a team focused on yacht and boat detailing. For years, we worked hand in hand with boat owners, captains, and marinas, facing some of the toughest surface-care challenges there are — salt, intense sun, constant humidity, and gelcoat that doesn't forgive a poor product.
Over time, we noticed a pattern: again and again, our clients asked us for product recommendations, asked what we used ourselves, and many ended up frustrated with what they found on the general market. Something built specifically for that level of demand was missing.
That need, repeated across years of service, became the seed of Eminent Detail Store. We decided to take everything we'd learned caring for boats of every size and every surface condition — the technical knowledge, the quality standard, the obsession with detail — and put it to work selecting products: becoming distributors of the brands and formulas that truly deliver, available to detailers and enthusiasts on any surface, not just on the water.
